Welcome to GT Prep.

GT Prep is owned and operated by Gilbert Thompson (Leeds) Limited, a family owned business that has been wholesaling fresh produce in Yorkshire for over seventy years. The business was started as a result of our customers’ needs for a reliable source of good quality, reasonably priced prepared vegetables.

It is managed by Wayne Jubb, who has over twenty years of experience of in the prepared vegetable industry, and located in the Yorkshire Produce Centre on the outskirts of Leeds. We have invested in the best machinery from day one, using Urschel dicers & slicers and Francis Overall baton carrot machines and de-sliverers.

We aim to provide consistent low prices and update our price list quarterly to reflect seasonal changes in the price of raw products. We pride ourselves on sourcing and producing the right products for our different customers and are happy to provide samples of our prepared vegetables to new customers so that you can see our quality for yourself.

Our Facility

All work is carried out in a temperature controlled facility with additional cold storage for the finished product, ensuring the cool chain is not broken during manufacture.
